Diane has a BS from Eastern Oregon State College, a certificate in Herbal Studies from the School of Herbal Medicine and a Certificate in Aromatherapy from the Australasian College of Herbal Studies. She has taught classes on gardening and herbalism for Central Oregon Community College Community Education since 1977, as well as teaching classes privately and for Master Gardeners and other groups.
Her herbal career has gone through many a metamorphasis through the years. Always the herb garden has been a major focus. She had a regular herbal booth at the Saturday Markets for many years and then had the herb store Juniper and Sage in downtown Bend for about seven years.
Juniper & Sage is located at the edge of the Great Basin and at the foot of the beautiful Cascade Mountains. It is surrounded by an ancient Juniper Forest.
